Amanda White, who goes by Ronnie (maiden name), was born and raised in Vancouver B.C. Growing up, she participated in many different sports and activities, but dance was her true calling. After years of studying the art she started auditioning for cruise lines and found her self working for Carnival Cruise Lines. She spent 4 years performing with Carnival and met her husband, eventually settling in San Antonio, Texas. While waiting for her green card to clear, she started taking group fitness classes at a local studio. This is where Ronnie discovered barre and quickly became certified as a barre instructor and started teaching classes immediately. This is also where Ronnie discovered the reformer. She became very passionate about Pilates and sought out formal training. She got certified under the BASI Pilates method and started working with other dancers and athletes to help them improve core strength and prevent injuries. For the last year, Ronnie has worked for a rehab company and has been able to learn from some amazing doctors and expand her knowledge of movement and rehabilitation techniques. Ronnie and her family recently relocated to Mt. Vernon, WA. When not practicing Barre and Pilates you can also find Ronnie working out at a local Crossfit gym, drinking wine or taking her 9-pound “killer” of a dog on hikes with her husband. She has an infectious attitude, welcoming personality and is excited about helping people to reach their health and fitness goals.
